Why RapidWay Freight

Flatbed rates are higher because the work is harder. Your dispatcher should carry their share.

Tarping, securement, oversize permits and job-site deliveries need a dispatcher who asks the right questions before you accept. Ours have flatbed experience and build your week around loads you can actually haul safely.

  • ✓No forced dispatch. Tarp jobs, oversize and job-site deliveries are offered, never assigned.
  • ✓Transparent pricing. 5% of gross per load, agreed before you sign. No setup fee, no contract, no hidden charges.
  • ✓Dedicated flatbed dispatcher. Knows your deck length, your gear and what you will and won’t tarp.
  • ✓24/7 support. Job sites open at dawn; your dispatcher is already on.
  • ✓Permit and legal-load expertise. Height, width and weight checked before booking, permits arranged when needed.

What we do

What your flatbed dispatcher does every day

One named dispatcher owns your truck. Here is what they handle so you don’t have to.

CHECKING THE DIMENSIONS
Load sourcing & rate negotiation

Flatbed boards plus steel, lumber and equipment shippers, negotiated with tarp pay and securement time priced in.

Permits & compliance

Legal dimensions verified on every load; oversize permits, escorts and route surveys arranged when a load needs them.

Route planning

Routes checked for bridge heights and weight limits, with backhauls built so you are not deadheading home empty.

Paperwork & accessorials

Rate cons, BOLs and invoicing done for you; tarp pay, detention and TONU billed every time.

    Questions? We have answers

    Flatbed Dispatch Services FAQ

    Do you book oversize loads?

Yes, when your equipment and permits allow. Your dispatcher confirms dimensions, arranges permits and escorts and prices the extra time into the rate.

    Is tarp pay included?

We negotiate tarp pay separately and make sure it is on the rate confirmation before you accept.

    Can I avoid tarped loads?

Yes. Tell your dispatcher your preferences and we filter loads to match.

What if a job site makes me wait?

We document it and bill detention. Waiting time is part of what we get you paid for.
